Subcontractor
A subcontractor is an individual or company that provides product-related services on behalf of an organization, but does not take legal ownership of the product.
Within Fairtrade certification, Fairtrade certified organizations are also responsible for assuring their subcontractors’ compliance with the Fairtrade Standards.
