Licensing body
A licensing body is the organization that draws up and signs a licence contract with a licensee. In countries where a National Fairtrade Organization (NFO) is located, the NFO serves as the licensing body. In non-NFO countries and in countries where there is a Fairtrade marketing organization, Fairtrade Labelling Organizations International e.V. serves as the licensing body.
